Buzosajis a versatile and amazing young Nigerian artiste in diaspora, talks about music and life in general in this interview.

Q: We’ve been seeing Buzosajis for a while now; who exactly is Buzosaji? (Full name and a lil biography)

A: Chibuzo Osajindu aka Buzo Sajis “KILL-UH “ is an upcoming versatile artist. Born in the US and having come back to her hometown Nigeria, she is well rounded and plans on first starting off her career in Nigeria.

Q: How was growing up like for you?

A: Growing up was pretty cool I think. My parents gave me the best of both worlds. Super grateful

Q: Mind giving an insight on your educational prowess?

A: Well I have been through nursing school and still furthering my education in the medical field

Q: Looking into music, if not music, what would you be doing?

A: Probably playing sports

Q: Who or what inspired you into making music?

A: Quite a few people. Eminem was one of the first rappers I heard. Then Wayne, Missy, Eve, Nicki Minaj. Started listening to Nigerian music too. I watched Styl plus a lot thought they were dope P square, Sky B at the time.

Q: How would you describe your style of music?

A: I’m pretty versatile

Q: How do you create your music? (Process)

A: Once the vibe comes and I like it, I record.

Q: In the (Nigerian) music industry presently, which artiste would you love to collaborate with?

A: Burna Boy

Q: Which artistes have you featured and those you are hoping to feature?

A: I’ve featured my G, Kalo C. I would love to feature more of my guys pretty soon. 

Q: Should we expect an EP from you this year?

A: Wait and see

Q: Are you by any chance signed to a label?

A: No

Q: How would you describe the success of your last body of work?

A: I’m super grateful for the feedback I got.

Q: What awards do you have up on your shelf?

A: Best Student of the yeah haha no. Baddest bitch award presented to me by me

Q: Do you play any musical instrument? If yes, does it have a name?

A: I used to play guitar then I dropped it

Q: You must have performed at some venues and events; can you give a quick mention of your least and favorite performance venues?

A: All the venues have been pretty ok so far

Q: What’s your favorite song to perform?

A: 100 it’s all bars lol

Q: Which famous musician do you admire?

A: Tiwa Savage ❤️

Q: If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

A: Men need to leave girls alone. 

Q: Do you think female artistes are discriminated against in the industry?

A: I do.

Q: What is the most trouble you’ve gotten into?

A: Probably getting suspended haha

Q: Are there hidden meanings or feelings behind your music?(lyrics)

A: Some of them for sure

Q: What is your favorite part about this line of work? Why?

A: It’s fun. I get to be myself and get creative.

Q: Are you currently in Nigeria or outside?

A: Currently outside

Q: What should we expect from you this year?

A: A lottttt

Q: If you could date any musician or celebrity, who would it be and why?

A: Hmmm.. good question I don’t know the answer to that lol.

Q: Do you think you could get any better as a musician? How do you plan on achieving that?

A: Absolutely. I think constructive criticism and hunger to grow as an artist are super important. Also having an open mind helps.

Q: What advice do you have for someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

A: Be yourself.

Q: What’s your greatest regret as an artiste and as a person?

A: Nothing.

Q: If you had one message for your fans, what would it be?


Q: Why rap?

A: I eff with it heavy.
